Excitement

As I was putting Elijah down for his nap today I said "do you know who's coming tomorrow?" He looked at me and got a smirk and said "oliber????" I laughed and said "I'm not sure about that, but jammaw is coming!" He started jumping up and down and yelling "yeah yeah I'm so excited!!!!" He's pretty excited about his little brother arriving, but so far I think Jammaw coming is taking the cake! :)

Our last meal out as a 3 person family

At Red Lobster, the place E has been asking to eat at for weeks. The last time we were here was with C. Ro.

Just adding some back stuff now:

A few weeks ago we finally got around to hanging the wall clings we got for E's bedroom. Here's the finished product.

We're busy cleaning the downstairs and Elijah is happily going through and playing with all of his toys. Yet another mess to clean up, but at least J and I can get everything else done without extra "help", lol! E yells over to us "it's a good day mom!"

"Any day I can spend with my Thomas's is a good day!" :)

I hope he never loses his joy for the little things and I hope he always points them out to me so I can remember the little things matter too!

Got home today and was in the kitchen making our lunch.

"Hey Elijah can you go upstairs and get your milk and my water please?"

"No problem mom"

"....*stomp stomp stomp* I'm coming down with your water and my milk mom! When I get down there and to the couch you better help take my pants off!"

This kid absolutely slays me on a daily basis.

As of late, E has been asking for us to buy flowers and put them in our house. A rather strange request since we haven't really ever kept flowers in the house. With that said, Alitia decided to take him to Ralph's after her chiropractic appointment today. Here's the brief excerpt from that experience.

A: "Hey bud what about these gerber daisies here?"

E: "Um mom those are not pretty enough..."

Turned out the pink ones didn't work, but the red ones were ok. So that's what we got. We are a house with flowers now.

At the beginning with you

So for us, this little place is going to be our place to record the happenings in our life. More specifically to jot down the conversations we have with our kids. Expect it to oftentimes be incoherent posts and/or quick quotes that happen during the day.
